Upon notification prior to the weigh in and return of all equipment you will be issued a refund less a processing fee of $25.00. Currently anyone who decides not to play after the weigh in is not issued a refund.
We will schedule new dates closer to the start of the season end of July/beginning of August!
The pre- season will begin on Monday, August 12 at 6pm.
Pep Rally and Official Weigh in is Saturday, September 7, at 9am!
A player may not exceed 10 lbs. over the weight limit of week one. If the player is 10 lbs. or less during the week one weigh in date then the player can be rostered, but not play until he/she makes game day weight.
Midget( Grade 8): No Birthdate prior 11/15/03 [Division 1]
Midget( Grade 7): No Birthdate prior 7/1/05[Division 6]
Age - No Midget player shall attain the age of fifteen (15) prior to November 15th. of the current year. However, no player, regardless of the aforementioned requirements, shall participate in the league if he or she is in the ninth grade of school. Any town found in violation of the rule shall forfeit each game determined to be in violation and be fined $100.00 for each occurrence.
Weight - At the official, scheduled weigh-in, the maximum weight will not exceed 160 pounds. Each player must make official weight. Otherwise, their name will be dropped from the roster.
Pee Wee(Grade 6): No Birthdate prior 7/1/06 [Division 1]
Pee Wee(Grade 5): No Birthdate prior 7/1/07[Division 6]
Age - No Pee Wee player shall attain the age of twelve (12) prior to July 1st.
Weight - At the official, scheduled weigh-in, the maximum weight will not exceed 130 pounds. If a player does not make weight, he/she will have an option to play as a Midget. Rosters will be adjusted accordingly.
Mite (Grade 4): No Birthdate prior 7/1/08 [Division 1]
Mite (Grade 2,3): No Birthdate prior 7/1/09 [Division 6]
Age - No Mite player shall attain the age of ten (10) prior to July 1st, but must attain the age of seven (7) by July 1st.
Weight - At the official, scheduled weigh-in, the maximum weight will not exceed 105 pounds. If a player does not make weight, he/she will have an option to play as a Pee Wee. Rosters will be adjusted accordingly.
Hingham youth football and cheer has a zero tolerance policy for bullying. If anyone is caught bullying another player or cheerleader that player or cheerleader will be expelled from the team for the rest of the season. Please make sure that your child is aware that we have zero tolerance and there will be no warnings given.
