RULES FOR 1ST/2ND GRADE GALS

All grade levels have an equal playing time policy.  No player shall play more than one shift more than another player.  Exceptions for late arrivals, early departures, and injuries.

Each 1st/2nd Grade session will be divided into a 30 minute team practice followed by a 45 minute game against the other team.

Teams will play two 3 v 3 games simultaneously on cross courts.

Baskets will be lowered from 10' to approximately 9'.

 Coaches referee games.

During games, coaches should teach double dribble, travel,  and fouls.  Teams don’t turn ball over for infraction, just stop play and educate players.

Out of bounds should be called, and ball can be turned over when players leave the court.
