IMPORTANT DATES for First Week of Preseason

SUN AUG 14 Equipment Pick Up Make up 6:30 - 7:30pm (All Grades)
MON AUG 15 ALL GRADES REPORT TO LYNCH FIELD FOR THE FIRST NIGHT OF PRESEASON
TUE AUG 16 Practice is held at Hingham MIddle School for the rest of the week.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

EQUIPMENT PICK UP
There will be a make up day scheduled for Sunday August 14th 6:30pm - 7:30pm for those players who have not picked up equipment yet. Equipment will only be given to players currently registered. Also we also be doing handout for those who cannot attend tomorrow night starting at 5:30pm on Monday.

PRESEASON PRACTICE SCHEDULE
For the month of August we will be resting the playing surface at Lynch Field so South Shore Country Club can perform some maintenance in preparation for the season. We will all be practicing at Lynch Field on Monday August 15th and then moving to the Middle School on Tuesday August 16th.

Week 2 we will have 2 teams practice at Lynch to receive their game jersey, pants and socks. All other teams will be at the Middle School. Please see the below schedule.

MON Aug 22 - 8th Grade, 7th Grade
TUE Aug 23 - 6th Grade, 5th Grade
WED Aug 24 - 4th Grade, 2nd/3rd Grade

REGISTRATION
Registration for HYF Tackle program is CLOSED. Anyone who wants to register at this point in time will now be placed on a waiting list for registration

GENERAL HINGHAM SPORTS COMMUNITY INFORMATION

  • Hingham Youth Boy's and Girl's Lacrosse Fall Ball Registration is now open for Grades 1-8. The fall season focuses on lacrosse skills and learning the game of lacrosse. This is a good program for your child whom has never played the game or looking to improve their skills. Please go to http://www.hinghamlax.org or navigate to the registration tab within www.hinghamsports.com to register.
  • Hingham John Barker Basketball registration is now open. Please go to http://www.hinghambarkerbasketball.com or navigate to the registration tab within www.hinghamsports.com to register. Please Note to players in 4th - 8th grade, you will need to register for Barker prior to being able to participate in the Travel Try-outs held in October. Registration for the Try-out is in the Barker Registration.
  • The Flamingos are back and are flocking all across Hingham lawns. The Hingham High Football Boosters are currently running their annual Flamingo Flock fundraiser. Please keep the tradition continuing by choosing to flock a friend or neighbor.Members of the team will be happy to relocate the flock to the destination of your choice. A $40 contribution would be appreciated, but is not required. Any support is welcome.If you would like to be flocked or flock someone. Please click one of the following below email addresses.
